In January 2015 Lucinda Dunn OAM will become the Artistic Director of the Tanya Pearson Classical Coaching Academy and the Sydney City Youth Ballet, it has been announced. A student of Tanya Pearson OAM since the age of 13, Lucinda is one of Australia’s most celebrated prima ballerinas. A graduate of the Academy, Lucinda won the Prix de Lausanne in 1988 before continuing her training at the Royal Ballet School, London. Commencing with the Australian Ballet in 1991 her stellar career has seen her perform all over the world as the company’s Principal Artist and longest serving Ballerina.
The Tanya Pearson Classical Coaching Academy is internationally recognised as an elite selective classical coaching academy. With over fifty years of teaching, Tanya Pearson established her ballet Academy forty-five years ago and now has graduates in ballet companies around the world. The Academy provides specialises in coaching and training those dedicated and talented students wishing to pursue a professional career in dance. The Academy also houses a successful part time School that offers classes in RAD Classical Ballet from Tiny Tots through to Advanced II levels classes.
