Tanya Pearson Classical Coaching Academy student Phoebe Warlow has been awarded the prestigious Royal Academy of Dance National Advance 1 Bursary in Sydney.

With finalists chosen from advanced students around Australia, candidates must have achieved a distinction in their Royal Academy of Dance Advance 1 examination, and not have completed their Advance 2.

This year alone, Phoebe Warlow was awarded the Society of Dance Arts Intermediate Classical Ballet Scholarship from 80 competitors Australia wide; was a finalist in the Sydney Eisteddfod Robert & Elizabeth Albert Ballet Scholarship, winner of the Sydney Eisteddfod U14 Contemporary Section plus winner of the Silver Medal at the Cecchetti Medal Awards Competition.

Upon the announcement of the winner Mrs Pearson said: “Phoebe is a very talented young dancer with a special quality and presence.”
