Sydney City Youth Ballet - Nutcracker 2009 Update

Sydney City Youth Ballet’s production of Nutcracker was again a wonderfully successful season lead by an outstanding local and international line up of talent. Yosvani Ramos and Kristy Corea from the Australian Ballet Company and International dancers Mariana Baltodano and Francisco Rojas joined the cast treating the enthusiastic audiences to a dynamic display of talent and dance craft.

Annual European Audition Tour-2010

The Annual Overseas Audition Tour kicked off in Mannheim Germany on January 11th with 12 full time students participating in the auditions.

Mrs Pearson will be guiding the students through Europe visiting, Hamburg, Dresden, Vienna, Munich, Zurich, Basel, Lausanne and London.

The tour will be finished off with a trip back to Switzerland to attend the Prix de Lausanne where former student Emily Smith (who is now with the Vienna State Opera Ballet School) will be competing.

We have already received exciting news of offers and the students are enjoying the beautiful sights and snow.
