CINDERELLA TO ENCORE AT GLEN STREET THEATRE
Tuesday 12 July – Sunday 17 July 2011
Following sell out performances in 2010, and meeting public demand, THE SYDNEY CITY YOUTH BALLET will re-stage CINDERELLA during the July school holidays – from Tuesday 12 July to Sunday 17 July 2011 at the Glen Street Theatre, Frenchs Forest. With matinee and evening performances available, CINDERELLA is perfect entertainment for the whole family.
With beautiful ballroom scenes and the funny antics of the Ugly Stepmother and hilarious Stepsisters, CINDERELLA has been choreographed by Hassan Sheta. With additional choreography by Kellie Conolly and music by Strauss, the production is being and overseen by Artistic Director Tanya Pearson.
When poor Cinderella is told by her Ugly Stepmother that she is not allowed to go to the Ball, her Fairy Godmother appears and makes her wishes come true! Transforming her into a beautiful princess, The Fairy Godmother conjures up dancing mice and a carriage and sends Cinderella to the magnificent Ball to meet the handsome Prince.
