Students of the Tanya Pearson Academy have had great success at the recent Sydney Eisteddfods – Australia’s largest competition attracting students from all around the country.

All seven Academy students that entered the Sydney Eisteddfod Senior Ballet Scholarship were selected for the Quarter Finals. Four of these students (Janae Kerr, Cameron Holmes, Hannah Lyons and Isaac Shaw) were selected for the Semi Finals and we are thrilled to announce that three Academy students have been selected for the Finals. Only 8 students in total from all across Australia are selected for the Finals and they will each perform a classical and contemporary solo at the Sydney Opera House on Sunday 30 July 2017.

Congratulations to our Finalists – Janae Kerr, Cameron Holmes and Isaac Shaw.

A student of the Tanya Pearson Academy also won the 2017 Robert & Elizabeth Albert Senior Ballet Scholarship. Congratulations to 14 year old Grace Carroll!

Tanya Pearson Academy full time student Lucinda Worthing Shore was awarded 2nd place in the Sydney Eisteddfod Wenkhart Foundation Ballet Championship 14yrs. Congratulations Lucinda!

There have been numerous other awards and places to Academy students in the classical and contemporary solo sections and we congratulate you all.
